Open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily
Immerse yourself in a tropical oasis brimming with vibrant blooming orchids at the Orchid Show, a once-a-year opportunity to view a rotating display of hundreds of orchids from the Garden's expansive living collection. Peer through lush foliage, bubbling fountains, and trailing vines as you are transported to an exotic hideaway within the Orthwein Floral Display Hall.
Join us on a visual journey through the natural beauty of our orchid collection and the natural wonder of the flora of Mesoamerica, home to many of the world’s most beautiful orchids! The people of Mesoamerica have been domesticating and discovering plants for thousands of years, including some of the most important plants we use for food today. As you explore you will discover and learn about how some Mesoamerican cultures used the plants in their environments and how we at the Garden cultivate and use them today. From food to medicine to beauty, there is so much to discover.
