This Board Bill seeks the approval of a competitive Lead Hazard Reduction Grant in the amount of Two Million, Five Hundred and Twenty Thousand ($2,520,000) received by the Community Development Administration (CDA) from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Funding from the grant will allow for CDA, the Building Division and Department of Health to continue efforts in reducing lead poisoning and will also allow for the remediation of lead hazards from 210 units of housing. Collapse

Board Bill Number 200 
Introduced by Alderman Tom Oldenburg

The purpose of this ordinance is to approve a contract between the City of St. Louis and Persistent Surveillance Systems dba Community Support Program. The contract will provide aerial investigation research to the City, specifically technical assistance, training, technology, research, and subject matter expertise to assist the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department in reducing and investigating crime. This ordinance will have a significantly positive effect on the City, its residents, the reduction and investigation of crime, and public safety. Collapse

This Board Bill authorizes and directs the Chief of Police, on behalf of the Mayor and the City of St. Louis, to enter into and execute a Grant Agreement with the Missouri Department of Public Safety, Office of Homeland Security, to fund the 2020 Operation Legend Program.
