It's a busy start to the week for St. Louis police detectives, who are investigating several shootings over the past week. FOX 2 has learned that least one dozen people were hurt from shootings since Saturday afternoon.
Washington University in St. Louis locked some campus buildings and arrested protesters Saturday. Photos showed uniformed police attempting to remove masked protesters as others, also wearing masks, linked arms to thwart the efforts.
St. Louis County is inching toward finally setting up a property tax freeze program for its senior citizens. The stumbling block was when the Department of Revenue wanted nearly $2 million to implement the program. St. Charles County was apparently the deciding factor in moving things forward in St. Louis County.
Another break-in at the Hi-Pointe Drive-In has its owner and customers upset. In a Facebook post, the restaurant confirmed the burglary happened early Sunday morning. Employees tell FOX 2 itโs the fourth such break-in in the span of two years and the second in the past six months.
The boil order has been lifted in St. Louis South County after a water main break on April 25th. The incident forced the early closure of four schools and prompted a precautionary boil water advisory. However, Missouri American Water customers are no longer required to follow this advisory.
The family of a Hermann police officer nearly killed in a shooting last year is thanking everyone who helped save his life. ย On Saturday at Hermann High School, the parents of Adam Sullentrup presented handmade quilts to more than 30 first responders who were called on the night of March 12th, 2023.
Hi Pointe Drive They wrote on Facebook that they had a break-in again last night about 1:30 a.m. at their location at 1033 McCausland, in downtown St. Louis. They stated in their post that this was their fourth break-in in the past two years.
