JB Pritzker has decided to delay work on a $1.2 billion project meant to prevent invasive carp from reaching the Great Lakes out of concerns that the Trump administration won't pay the federal government's share of the costs. Illinois, Michigan and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers have been planning to install a gauntlet of technologies in the Des Plaines River near Joliet, Illinois, to deter approaching fish.
