Governor Mike Kehoe is expected to sign a new congressional map into law Sunday, which targets the 5th Congressional District in Kansas City, currently held by Democratic Representative Emanuel Cleaver, by incorporating more rural, heavily Republican areas, although its implementation remains uncertain due to ongoing legal and political battles.

"The vast majority [of kids], they're being strapped to chairs," parent Joshua Rudolfi says.

A redevelopment plan for the long-vacant Millennium Hotel site in downtown St. Louis has won approval from the Board of Aldermen.  The measure, sponsored by Alderman Rasheen Aldridge, covers the 4.2-acre property at 200 South 4th Street, which has sat empty for more than a decade between the Gateway Arch and Busch Stadium.
