The back edge of the accumulating snow is moving into the northwest metro region as I type here early on Friday morning. Steadier, accumulating snow will continue for another couple of hours, making its way off to the southeast. The winds are causing the snow to blow around quite a bit. Surface temperatures have fallen into the teens to low 20s, which will make for a slick morning commute, especially on side roads.
