On February 15, 2025, just before 4PM, District 6 officers responded to the 4900 block of Union for a robbery. When officers arrived, they met a 17-year-old male who stated he was just robbed while trying to purchase clothes from an unknown suspect.

Arrest: On February 14, 2025, 20-year-old Marcus Allen was arrested. Charges were issued for Murder 1st Degree and Armed Criminal Action.

On February 14, 2025 at approximately 9:55AM, District 5 officers were called to the 1000 block of North Sarah for a robbery. They arrived and located a 61-year-old man who stated he had been robbed.

Around 12 p.m. on February 11, District 6 officers were on patrol in the Penrose neighborhood when officers attempted a traffic stop on a Nissan Rogue but it fled from officers at a high rate of speed. Officers attempted a traffic stop; but disengaged due to safety concerns.
