A judge is holding a man in jail until he can pay $10,000 in fines related to a business dispute. The man says he has no money.

A St. Louis jury acquitted the man's girlfriend in the shooting death of a Hyde Park landlord.

Police are pleading with the public to provide surveillance footage from homes and businesses near Bircher Boulevard and Ruskin Avenue near Interstate 70 and Union Boulevard.

The Urban League of St. Louis will hold distribution events May 31, June 7 and June 14.

"Any involvement by the Prosecutor's Office would appear improper and could jeopardize the integrity of the investigation," the prosecutor's office said.

"This is purely humanitarian," Mayor Cara Spencer said.
