* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of east central Missouri, including the
following counties and independent city, northeastern Jefferson,
central Saint Louis and central Saint Louis City.
* WHEN...Until 930 AM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. It will take
several hours for all the water from these storms to work through
local drainage systems in urban areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 806 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is
ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area.
Between 3 and 4 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in
the warned area.

St. Louis, Chesterfield, University City, Ballwin, Kirkwood,
Maryland Heights, East St. Louis, Webster Groves, Ferguson,
Arnold, Manchester, Creve Coeur, Overland, Clayton, Jennings,
St. Ann, Crestwood, Bridgeton, Bellefontaine Neighbors and
Town and Country.
