JOE DREYER has been performing in St. Louis (with two stints in Los Angeles) since the 1970s. He has been affiliated with many theatres, hotels, restaurants, corporations, retirement homes, country clubs and private groups; from Grand Center to First Night to the Science Center and beyond, often in collaboration with his talented wife, actress/singer Rosemary Watts. Joe’s favorite credits include performing with the comedy troupe Off The Wall in Los Angeles, music directing and playing for the long-running Menopause The Musical, writing music and lyrics for five Imaginary Theatre shows at the Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, writing, directing and accompanying five full-length musical theatre parodies for Bellerive Country Club, composing a song recorded by Jason Alexander, performing with Dean Christopher and his Rat Pack show, an evening at Powell Hall for an AIDS benefit, cabarets with an assortment of prominent local singers, and many other appearances around town. He is also the keyboardist for classic rock band The Twangadours. Joe (and Rosemary) have been spotted frequently on the Blue Strawberry stage. He is excited to take this solo turn in the Blue Strawberry Lounge.
