Juneteenth Caribbean Heritage Festival

The festival is an all-day, family-friendly event that will provide activities throughout the day, including:
- The Commemorative Walk for Freedom and Justice, where we offer 1-mile and 5-mile options. The walk will begin promptly at 7:00 am, followed by a program at 7:30 am. The walk will commence at 8:00 am. Don't miss this opportunity to walk for freedom and justice!
- Snacks and water for walkers along the route.
- Inspiring speeches by community leaders, live music, DJ, and entertainment throughout the day, including Contemporary Performers, Gospel Choirs and Singers, African Drummers, African Dancers, and Drama Presentations.
- Noonday prayer.
- Children's Village, featuring face painting, bouncy houses, games, and activities.
- Walk Through History–an exciting and informative way to learn about outstanding freedom fighters who were African and Caribbean Americans at our open-air museum. It will engage you to explore the stories of these heroes who fought for freedom and equality. Discover the remarkable legacies they left behind.
- Veteran zone with information about veteran organizations.
- Senior Zone with shaded tents for people to relax and enjoy music.
- Education Zone, which has a mobile museum about Juneteenth, local history, and historical Black Colleges and Universities and other organizations.
- Other Zones will focus on health and employment.
- Variety of Vendors
