Juneteenth Celebration in the Delmar Loop

Celebrate the kick-off to Juneteenth in the Delmar Loop with art, music, and food!

Event Schedule:

• 12:00 PM - Drum Call by Kunama Mtendaji at Delmar & Hamilton.
• 1:30 PM - GOV - Gentlemen of Vision
• 2:00 PM - Sount by DJ KP
• 3:00 PM - Red & Black Brass Band
• 4:30 PM - Spirit of Angela African Dance
• 12 PM to 6 PM - Stop by Delmar & Hamilton for live art and activities. (right next to AAA Fish House: 5916 Delmar Blvd).

Food:

Food for sale by local restaurants including AAA Fish House, Krab Kingz, Palomino Lounge, Chicken Out, and Vails Brothers.

Activities:

Fun for the whole family with bounce houses, Face Painting, Henna Painting, art activities, 360 Photo Booth, The Magic House, and Button Makers.

More is being added every day the Delmar Loop’s Juneteenth Celebration is a great way to kick-off your family’s Juneteenth festivities.

Our event was planned for June 10th so that it would not conflict with celebrations by other communities around the region. We hope guests get the opportunity to celebrate and enjoy the events that will be happening in June.
