The Grand Opening of The Wink! ANNEX, a Retailtainment space, at 4209 Virginia Avenue, 63111, in the heart of Downtown Dutchtown will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022, from 11AM-5PM.
The ANNEX is an Art, Event, and Retail Pop Up Space, supporting the micro retailers in the The Wink! Retail Incubator around the corner at 3302 Meramec Street.
The free event will offer the first PUBLIC glimpse of newly exposed & refurbished, turn of the century, ornate, 12-foot high Fleur de Lis tin ceilings & pink marble flooring. Guests will be treated to a panoply of local talent and services, delicious food, and handmade wares.
At 11 AM The Wink! ANNEX will unveil their Crushed Art Glass Window, created by local Craftsman /Artist Benjamin Thomas to officially open the space.
Partners Inked Beauty Bar will be on hand with Permanent Jewelry. Face Medical Spa will offer a special one-day price on a touch of ‘Tox and folks can sign up in advance here: WinkANNEXBooking (https://bit.ly/3ECnfLA) Walk-ins will be welcome as time allows. Both beauty authorities will offer Register to Win Drawings.
Guests can get walk-in Tiny Tattoos by Taylored Ink, choosing from a flash sheet of many design for the day. Get a Fairy Dust cocktail or NA drink at the bar mixed by Knockout Mixology.
A new outdoor Interactive Selfie Mural will also be debuted, painted & installed by The Design Deli.
Bruiser Queen will be slinging live music on the stage. Off stage music videos provided by Cullah a multi-genre artist, who is touring across the USA in 2022 with his 16th release, Firebird.
Attendees will get to sample passed appetizers bites throughout the day, specially prepared by Urban Eats Kitchen & Restaurant Incubator members All Rolled Up, Sugoi Sushi, Tacos La Jefa, Nicky Slices Pizza Club, Crepes & Treats, Mylk & Hummus and Beignet All Day. Urban Eats FoodHall across the street, will be open all day for guests who want a full meal.
Visual Artists showing at the ANNEX Opening event are Russell Vanacek, Walter Grant, Corinne Didisheim, Cody Moore, Sue Alexander, Genevieve Esson, Jeffery Sass, Deb DragonFly Studio and Betty Moore.
MJ Bowie, JB Kreative, ShoetopiaSTL, Patrice Stuff, Deb DragonFly Studio, Sue Alexander and more, will have retail booths at the event and at The Wink! Incubator.
