EDWARDSVILLE – A local woman accused of criminally neglecting her elderly husband for five days faces a felony charge in Madison County. Bonnie E. Hajny, 60, of Edwardsville, was charged on Feb. 5, 2026 with a Class 3 felony count of criminal abuse or neglect of an elderly person.
