New coffee shop to open in downtown Clayton

A new coffee bar is opening in downtown Clayton next month. HiFi by Upshot Coffee is planned to open Dec. 1, at 8401 Maryland Ave. at Crandon Drive, with a Japanese-inspired concept. In a release, the company said the shop will offer "specialty coffee drinks and a thoughtfully curated breakfast and lunch menu in a distinctive Japanese record bar-inspired space complete with a top-notch hi-fi sound system." β€œMy vision for Upshot and HiFi is to create unique, memorable, and welcoming spaces…
