ALTON – A section of Fosterburg Road in Alton is one step closer to receiving improvements. Alton City Council members unanimously approved a Joint Funding Agreement between the city and the Illinois Department of Transportation for improvements to Fosterburg Road at their Feb. 25, 2026 meeting.
