In Farmington, Missouri, a man has been arrested for possession of child pornography. On August 31, 2023, the St. Francois County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office charged Kaleb L. Curtis, aged 23, with three counts of possession of child pornography, resulting in a warrant for his arrest.

A St. Louis woman pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter of a toddler. She was sentenced on September 1 to eight years in prison as part of a plea agreement. She had originally been charged with the Class A felony of child abuse resulting in death.

On Monday, August 28, 2023, murder charges were filed against a 17-year-old in connection with a north St. Louis homicide that occurred in 2022.
