Driver crashes into tree in north St. Louis

ST. LOUIS - An accident happened late Thursday night in north St. Louis. A driver lost control and crashed into a tree at Halls Ferry Circle and Lewis and Clark Boulevard. No injuries have been reported. FOX 2's Nissan Rogue Runner reporter Nic Lopez was at the scene.

MoDOT, IDOT hiring for winter

ST. LOUIS - MoDOT and IDOT are looking ahead to winter and want to hire full-time winter maintenance workers. Applicants must be at least 18 and have a commercial driver's license. MoDOT also says "come for the snow, stay for the mow." Jobs start with winter snow plows but continue into the spring with grass mowing.

New construction breaks ground today at Nipher Middle School

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. - The Kirkwood School District is set to break ground Friday morning on new construction at Nipher Middle School. They plan to build four new classrooms and a connecting corridor. The funding comes from Prop R. It was approved by voters last spring.
