* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of southwest Illinois, including the following
county, southern Madison and east central Missouri, including the
following counties and independent city, northeastern Saint
Charles, northeastern Saint Louis and northeastern Saint Louis
City.

* WHEN...Until 445 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 142 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
have fallen.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
St. Louis, Florissant, Granite City, Alton, Hazelwood,
Collinsville, Edwardsville, Ferguson, Godfrey, Overland,
Jennings, Glen Carbon, Bellefontaine Neighbors, Wood River,
Highland, Troy, Bethalto, Berkeley, Maryville and Black Jack.
