Tornado Warning issued March 14 at 9:46PM CDT until March 14 at 10:15PM CDT by NWS St Louis MO

At 946 PM CDT, a confirmed tornado was located over West Alton, or
near Alton, moving northeast at 55 mph.

HAZARD...Damaging tornado and ping pong ball size hail.

SOURCE...Weather spotters confirmed tornado.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

St. Louis, Granite City, Alton, Edwardsville, Godfrey, Glen
Carbon, Bellefontaine Neighbors, Wood River, Bethalto, Black Jack,
Pontoon Beach, Madison, Riverview, Venice, Spanish Lake, East
Alton, Brighton, South Roxana, Roxana and Hartford.

This includes the following State Parks...
Confluence State Park and Horseshoe Lake State Park.

This includes Interstate 55 in Illinois near exit 23.
