Facebook’s Holding Company “Meta” is being criticized for its unclear vision of “bringing people together” using holograms, avatars and augmented reality. Amidst the scrutiny it faces, “Meta” is also criticized over the whistleblower allegations, data privacy concerns and sudden restructuring that occurred. The company’s sudden change of name is also known as a move away from its public image, reputation and as a risky move during challenging times.
