WOOD RIVER — A vehicle crashed into a parked car and then a house Tuesday afternoon, May 5, 2026, at the intersection of East Acton and 1st Street in Wood River. “A vehicle was traveling down the road and struck a parked car and then struck a house,” Wood River Deputy Fire Chief Nate Kamp said.
