ST. LOUIS - A child was left seriously injured Sunday afternoon after a house fire in north St. Louis. The house fire occurred around 2 p.m. on Lee Avenue near North Newstead in north St. Louis' Penrose neighborhood. According to officials, a child had to be taken to a nearby hospital suffering from serious injuries.
