St. Louis-area Walmart removing self-check lanes

A south St. Louis County Walmart is the latest store in the nation to remove what's come to be known as a common supermarket feature. The store, located off Watson Road in Shrewsbury, announced Friday it will begin removing its self-checkout lanes on Sunday.
