Prosecutors this week filed felony stealing charges against a St. Louis woman who they say stole 23 bottles of tequila from a Costco in south St. Louis County. According to a police probable cause statement, Caylen Woods smuggled the bottles of booze out of the store by concealing them in a child carrier and diaper bag. New round of Covid-19 booster shots on the way after CDC recommendation
Americans older than six months should get an updated Covid-19 booster this fall, according to a recommendation the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention issued Tuesday.
The vaccine should be available by later this week, the CDC said in a statement.

Former prosecutor picked to fill Missouri Supreme Court vacancy
Gov. Mike Parson on Tuesday announced Judge Kelly Broniec as his choice to fill an open seat on the Missouri Supreme Court.
Broniec, 52, currently serves as chief judge of the Missouri’s Eastern District Court of Appeals in St. Louis. She will fill the vacancy left by Judge George W. Draper III, who retired earlier this month. With Broniec’s appointment, women now make up four of the seven seats on the court.
