St. Louis Circuit Court judges on Thursday recused themselves from hearing the case brought by Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey against the city's top prosecutor, Kim Gardner.
Legal experts said the state Supreme Court would now decide which circuit will hear the action, called quo warranto, or legal proceeding to remove Gardner from office.
