St. Louis County Police Probe Male's Homicide In City Of Bellefontaine Neighbors

ST. LOUIS COUNTY - St. Louis County Police Department Crimes Against Persons detectives are investigating a homicide in the area of Ashbrook Drive and Golden Drive in the City of Bellefontaine Neighbors which resulted in the death of an adult male. The deceased has been identified as Ian Hayes, 20 years of age, of the 5900 block of Sir Edward Court in Florissant, Missouri 63033. On February 9, 2023, at 12:09 AM, City of Bellefontaine Neighbors police officers responded to a call for service for shots fired in the area of Ashbrook Drive and Golden Drive. Officers located an adult male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound inside a vehicle. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. City of Bellefontaine Neighbors police officers requested St. Louis County Police Crimes Against Persons Detectives lead the investigation. The investigation is active at this time.
