Review: The Rep's House of Joy Is Equal Parts Dazzling and Puzzling

2 years 9 months ago

As you can imagine, with that many different plot points, not much sticks. The play opens on Roshni (played by Tina Muñoz Pandya), who recently beat a man to death when he tried to hurt her sister.

Hartmann: New 'Book Ban' Is Legislative Porn for Missouri

2 years 9 months ago
Some books were banned recently from a few public-school libraries in the St. Louis area — a hideous exercise in primarily anti-LGBTQ bigotry — so you'd expect people of good conscience to scream from the mountaintops about the knuckle draggers responsible. Sorry, hard pass.
